Virtual Support Groups for Military Families in San Diego
A free monthly space to be held — not just to hold it together.
Military life asks a lot of you. The deployments, the moves, the uncertainty, the solo parenting, the homecomings that don't always look the way you imagined. Through all of it, you're often the one keeping everything afloat.
This group is a space where you get to be supported for a change.
Whether you're navigating an active deployment, adjusting after homecoming, managing the stress of frequent moves, or simply carrying the everyday weight of military family life — you'll find genuine understanding here from people who truly get it.
This group is:
Free to attend
Held monthly via secure video call
Open to new members — drop in anytime, no commitment required
Facilitated by Robyn Reddell, LCSW, who has extensive experience supporting military families and Active Duty service members
All sessions are confidential. This is a peer support group, not individual therapy.
Who Is This Group For?
This group is designed for military spouses, partners, and family members who are looking for connection, understanding, and support from others who share the experience of military life.
You might be a good fit if you are:
A military spouse managing a deployment or extended separation
A partner navigating the transition of homecoming or reintegration
A family member adjusting to a new duty station or PCS move
Someone feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or like no one in your civilian circle truly gets it
Simply looking for community with people who understand military family life from the inside
You do not need to be in crisis to attend. You just need to show up.
About Your Facilitator
Robyn Reddell, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience supporting Active Duty service members, military spouses, and military families through the unique challenges of military life — including deployment stress, reintegration, frequent relocation, and the strain that comes with loving someone in service.
Robyn brings warmth, expertise, and a non-judgmental presence to every session. She creates a space where you can speak honestly about the realities of military life without having to explain the context to someone who doesn't understand it.
Robyn is based out of our Mission Valley office and also sees clients individually via telehealth throughout California. Learn more about Robyn
